John Deere has modernized the cabin conveyor system to meet cutting-edge safety standards. For this purpose, John Deere has invested in a new and innovative MAXOLUTION® transportation system from SEW EURODRIVE. All the safety functions run on the MOVISAFE® HM31 safety control system. These include the safe positioning of the vehicles, safe lifting position and safe lifting speed. In addition, the Safe Brake Control safety technology was implemented as well which ensures the correct distance between vehicles.

Retrofitting the electrified monorail system involved using almost the entire MAXOLUTION® range. Thanks to the modular MOVIVISION® software solution, which is used in numerous systems around the world, the engineering was very straightforward. The freely parameterizable software ensures minimal programming work and supports a simulated, virtual startup. This flexibility means that further retrofitting or modifications are easily implemented.

This project shows the excellent results that can be achieved when companies such as John Deere and SEW EURODRIVE work together.
