Original upload from 27 December 2012.) The M.erlin finale was just heartbreaking. Perfect. Beautiful. But heartbreaking. I could've lived with Mordred and Morgana dying. Yes, they are two of my favorite characters, but I could've live with it. I even could've lived with Gwaine dying. But Arthur? Nope. I can't. I knew there was a big chance he would die, but the episode gave me so much hope that he would recover. See his beloved wife again (and kiss her). But my hopes were crushed by "just hold me". I don't ship Merthur, but their friendship is the best on-screen one I've ever seen, and I doubt there will ever be a better one. But I could not make a M.erlin/Arthur vid right now. And the reason for that is my once and future otp. When I started watching this show a few months ago, I never expected that I would love it this much. But now, I'm not only left heartbroken, but they also gave me this beautiful couple that I will love and ship forever. I think that Gwen got the worst ending. She lost everyone she cared about: her dad, her brother and the love of her life. Her best friend probably never returned to Camelot, and she never even got to say goodbye to her husband. In my head, she's pregnant of his child, because otherwise her ending is too sad for me. This is probably my last video of 2012. So I want to say: thank you so much for making this year amazing, and may next year be even better! It feels appropiate for me to end the year with this video, because they are my ultimate otp (sorry, Romione), and they will always be my once and future otp. This is dedicated to Myriam, aka LonerCheerleader, because she makes the best Merlin videos and I really wanted to give her something this christmas. I know it's late, but I hope you like it anyways.
